Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Ketelier collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Ketelier is a small handcrafted-macramé studio working with a partner workshop in North Vietnam. Questions: hello@ketelier.com.
What we collect
- Order information — name, shipping and billing address, email, phone, and what you bought. Needed to make and deliver your piece.
- Payment information — handled directly by our payment processors (Shopify Payments and Shop Pay). We never see or store full card numbers.
- Contact messages — anything you send through our contact form or by email.
- Usage data — pages viewed and basic device information, collected only after you consent to analytics cookies.
How we use it
- To make your made-to-order piece and ship it to you.
- To reply to your questions and provide support.
- To send order updates, and — only if you opt in — occasional letters about new work.
- To understand and improve the store, using consented analytics.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the store: Shopify (our commerce platform), payment processors, and shipping carriers. We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
Your order is fulfilled from Vietnam, so your shipping details are processed there to make and send your piece.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by writing to hello@ketelier.com. California residents may exercise CCPA rights, including “do not sell,” which Shopify helps us honour automatically.
Retention
We keep order records as long as needed for legal, accounting, and warranty purposes, then delete or anonymise them.
